Swimming through Disney's Oceans

I went to watch Oceans for Earth day. After all, I care about the earth. We should all care about the earth and especially our water supply. If there's one thing I believe in is that we're all connected by water. Humans, animals, life. We're all dependent upon it even though we cannot directly drink Ocean water.

The film which is presented by Disney, is directed by Jacques Perrin & Jacques Cluzaud. So many organizations are involved with this film including the European Space Agency, so I won't bother to name them all, click on the IMDB link at the top if you need to know.

The Film is narrated by Peirce Brosnan of James Bond fame. He did a great job narrating Oceans, but I was often left asking for more info on what I was seeing. They showed wonderful scenes and spectacular images, but never really explained what was happening. One scene when spider crabs faced off at the bottom of the Ocean in what look like a battle from Braveheart, but didn't explain why the crabs were fighting, or why it seemed that there were two factions of crab fighting against each other. It was f*ing crazy!

One of the most spectacular scenes was where a scuba diver was swimming alongside a great white shark like a remora fish. Truly spectacular, because I would have shit my wetsuit right there!

The obvious theme for the movie was to showcase the beauty of the ocean while lobbying awareness for the protection for the wildlife and this invaluable natural resource.

I give it 4 out of 5 Zombie Heads.
